Embedding resilience across the organization through business continuity
Today, organizations recognize the need for a proactive approach to business continuity management as a response to disasters and business disruptions. In recent years, the concept of organizational resilience has attracted a significant amount of attention across the business continuity industry.

Organizational Resilience has grown from a management driven approach to a culture that needs to be embedded across the organizations. Resilience is a goal which is enhanced by integrating and coordinating various disciplines in an organization- strategic, tactical, and operational. An organization should be strategically adaptable, operationally aware and tactically able to respond to any external or internal event. Resilience should become a culture organization wide and continual improvement, a mandate of this culture.

GRC framework and technology enablement – Lessons learnt from the trenches
Catherine will present her unique first-hand experience from having been in ‘the trenches’ of GRC implementation in various roles. She will discuss the key lessons she learnt from implementing GRC frameworks and technology - As the external consultant developing the framework; as the software provider implementing GRC software; and as the accountable executive of a compliance framework within a regulated entity.

By having a good understanding of the key drivers and critical success factors of the stakeholder groups involved, it will enable all parties to be mutually supportive of each other and achieve the best overall outcome.
